Autumn Term Assessments

In order to support your learning, we have listed the internal assessments that are planned for the autumn term. Please revise for these assessments at home, using the revision materials provided on the VLE and from your individual teachers. Information regarding formal mock exams will be provided separately.

Below are the upcoming assessments for the forthcoming two week period for ALL year groups. Individual year groups can be found at the bottom of the page.

14th October English – War - Writing to Describe Assessment Students are to create a piece of descriptive writing inspired by an image linking to WW2 and lives of young people during this time.
14th October French: Module 1 (Listening, Reading & Writing) Talking about brothers, sisters and age, describing a classroom, talking about likes and dislikes, describing yourself and others, saying what you do.
4th November Geography - End of unit exam Unit 1- Coasts.
4th & 11th November Art and Design Observational recording exam/ assessment.

14th October Business Studies – Ownership and Aspects of Finance Mid Topic Assessment This exam will assess students on topics covered up to this date.  Topics include, Business Ownership, Why Business Ideas come about, Risk & Reward, Profit & Loss and Cash Flow Forecasting.  Mrs Mayers classes (11E and 11F) will also be assessed on External Influences e.g. Interest Rates.
14th October French: Module 1 (Units 1-3) Listening, Reading & Writing Talking about friends, family relationships and making arrangements to go out.
